Once again I missed yesterday's post by a little more than 2 hours. Oh well, in todays news: "Unreal Tournament III"... Very good game, as a matter of fact my clan from Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 switched over to UT: III. Well mostly because Vegas blows asschunks now, but yeah, at least rent UT: III. It's really good.

New game by Bungie being announced at this year's E3!

Sorry I did not meet my July 8th quotas, guys... But I am only a half-hour late. But yeah, Over at bungie.net the latest podcast put up by Bungie on Monday all but confirmed that they would be making an announcement on Monday,July 14th the first day of E3 2008. In the podcast co-hosts Brian Jarrard and Luke Smith both had closing comments before the end of the podcast. It starts with Smith complaining about the lack of any new game announcements,which Jarrard retorted with "Isn't there something going on July 14?" Smith then replied "Yeah, around then." "That's sticking in my head for some reason. Guess we'll have to see." was the last thing Jarrard said about the subject. Looks like it's going to be another big year at E3 for Bungie. Let's hope this is not bullshit.

Achievement "Tip of the Day"

I am pretty sure that everyone here is familiar with GTA IV. Well, one of the most sought after achievements that most people want is the "One Man Army" achievement. Easiest way to do this, find a really fast car and have the "Up 1* Wanted Level" cheat, then go to the Airport, more specifically on the strip. There you will automatically receive a 4* wanted level, now just up it by 2* with the cheats, and drive around in the airport for about 5 minutes or so, and you will have this "not-so-hard-after-all" achievement...

You ever play Ms. Pac-Man? Well if so, then you may find this useful. And if you haven't but you are someone who has 400MS Points on hand, and wants a 200G boost on their Gamerscore, then this is the game for you. Most of the achievements for this game are like a 2/10 (difficulty-wise) But there is this ONE somewhat "pesky" achievement called "PERFECT" and the 30G is awarded when you eat all ghosts four times within a stage. To get this easy, do this on Level 1, this basically means you must eat all 4 ghosts 4 times within the level. The strategy is to put your lives up to 5 and then start level 1. Grab the first pellet once all 4 are around you and then eat them all. Now kill yourself to reset the ghosts and then do the same for the other 3 pellets. This achievement is much easier than what it is in Pac-Man. Why did I choose this game, you ask? Well I downloaded it today and got 200/200 within 40 minutes or so, making it my most recently played game and also the game that got me to my 53k today.

Midnight Club: LA pushed back again?

I've never really understood the real reason why publishers give release dates to the public when they clearly weren't going to hit it. Rockstar is the latest publisher to pull this trick... First GTA 4 and now Midnight Club: LA.

Today they announced that the upcoming Midnight Club title was going to be available on October 7th in North America and October 10th in Europe, over a month later than the original early September title which was released in April.

Seriously and this goes to every publisher... If you aren't 110% sure you are going to hit a release date, don't waste our time by giving us a release date and getting our hopes up... only to crush them! You cruel, cruel people.

You know the two achievements from Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, "Deuces Are Wild" & "Love Me Two Times"? Well even though I don't approve of cheat codes, other than "Hyperspeed" etc. If you don't have someone to sit through and do both of these achievements with you, no need to fret! According to www.achieve360points.com they have been able to confirm that the "No Fail" cheat works for this achievement...

Pay for Gamerscore!?!?!

So it is safe to say that I am an achievement junkie on the Xbox 360. I like playing games to get the achievements. However, I would never think to pay someone to get the achievement points for me. Where is the fun in that? There are a ton of different ways that one could get an easy 6000+ achievement points on the 360, you don’t need to pay someone to do it.

Levelmy360.com offers a number of different services to raise your gamer score. You give them your account information and tell them what games you want achievements for, and they go to work. $300 for 3000 points. In some parts of NYC you could get a lot more bang for your buck….if you catch my drift. You would end up saving money if you just bought the game and played through it. Even renting it, you would save a ton more.

I want to know who is using this service and would like them to justify using it.

Seriously... Go rent Avatar : TBE if you want more bang for your buck.

So as a fore-warning, don't trust sites like these... they may not be legit like you may think, and they will PROBABLY steal your account if it is valuable enough to them. They can also do game-saves and achievement glitches, thereby risking a complete gamerscore erase on your tag by Microsoft.

We are now up & running, but of course there will be more to come of the site as time progresses.

Here is how the site will operate... We will have my good friend GDM Hellboy running the news portion of the blog. This includes, but is not limited to: game news, updates, trailers, game content, etc. My portion will cover different aspects of gaming, not the news, but game reviews, tips & tricks, and achievement help. When I post on here, and something you want is not covered here, or if you have any requests, please seek me out via XboxLive (XIHackInABoxIX)
